Activated carbon absorbs and removes chlorine and other impurities, while the ceramics remove microbes and eliminate odors so water can be stored for long periods and maintain freshness.

The PURE-ALKA SYSTEM is an amazing four-stage process that delivers the ultimate purified, antioxidant-alkaline water. The Ceramic Filter (White Dome-Shaped Filter on top of unit) can be cleaned by lightly scrubbing the surface. The Cartridge Filter (4 Stage cylinder-shaped) needs to be replaced every 6 months:

Stage

1: A fine, multi-porous ceramic filter.

2: A mixture of ceramic de-chlorination and antifungal- sterilization balls in coconut shell activated carbon.

3: A multi-step filter made of a granular zeolite layer for ion exchange, a silicon layer for capturing organic matter and a complex quartz filtration layer with more than 45 kinds of minerals.

4: Alkaline-antioxidant ceramic balls composed of alkali and reduction-catalyst materials.
